Goodbye Norway

The next morning everybody was packing, saying goodbye to everybody and promising to keep in touch. But how many of them will keep their promises? “The members of the committee would like to thank you all for coming, participating to the games, to confess your stories to your countrymen and to enjoy the three days weekend. It’s now time to say goodbye. But before to jump to the bus that will drive you to the airport, I’d like to remind you that if any of you would like to organize the next event, he is welcome. I’d like that the next one would not be in Norway. Why not in Finland? You are the masters. Next time I’d like that we mixed a bit. We noticed for example that not many of you talked with the Russians or the Japanese. Anyway. I stop talking now. Have a nice trip back home!” Everybody applauded Björn Einar Romören.

At the airport the Finns exchanged their phone numbers. Janne Happonen reminded to the other Janne that he was welcome to sleep on his couch. Harri Olli promised to confirm a date for the weekend on his island. Veli-Matti said that he had a garden and that if someone wanted some fresh vegetables, he could ask. Jussi advertised again his pet shop and Matti his banking operations. But nobody was interested in. Tami proposed to have a dinner in his house when the weather would become cold.

The end
