It was a rainy Monday morning of April. The snow was almost all gone but the new leaves and flowers were not yet there. The landscape was grey and brown. The sparrows were on branches packed together. Janne Happonen was drinking his cup of coffee alone in the kitchen. He was in a bad mood and didn’t sleep well. The previous evening he quarrelled with his wife concerning his frequent visits to Nina. She was so angry that he had to sleep in the guest room. When he was ready, he wore his rain coat and ran to his car.

I’m an inspector and my job is to discover the truth! Not to hide it and to tell lies! Nina, you have to reveal your secret.” “No,” she answered without compassion. “Why?” “The report is not ready. It has to be perfect. Once I’ll start talking the whole world will listen to me. And I couldn’t stop. I can’t make mistakes. Do you get it? So, your couple problems are not my business. You are a big boy and you will solve them alone,” she told while she looked straight into his blue eyes.
